[Taipei, September 17, 2026] Freddy Kuo, Foxlink CEO and SYNCROBOTIC Chairman, represented Foxlink Group at ASUS AI Tech 2026 in Seoul, South Korea, on September 3. Kuo took the stage as a speaker in the “Winning in the New Era of AI” program, sharing the stage with representatives from Aleria, Crusoe, and IBM to explore how enterprises are turning innovation, sovereign AI, and scalable business value into real-world AI transformation.
ASUS hosted the event in cooperation with NVIDIA, bringing together technology partners including AMD, Foxlink Group, IBM, Intel, Samsung, Schneider Electric, and WD, with discussions centered on the path to AI infrastructure adoption and the direction for building “AI factories” with end-to-end operational governance.
At the event, Kuo noted that Foxlink and ASUS share common roots in hardware manufacturing and are both navigating the same shift toward higher value-add. He pointed to SYNCROBOTIC’s recent investment in robotics models — including its self-developed quadruped robots and its LocalMind orchestration system — as a concrete step in that direction, alongside Foxlink Group’s parallel collaboration with ASUS on edge computing hardware, workstations, and data centers. The next challenge, he said, is packaging these hardware and software capabilities into a complete, deployable solution for global markets.

SYNCROBOTIC demonstrated embodied AI data collection and edge-based multi-robot coordination on site: a robotic arm showed precision manipulation in real industrial scenarios while illustrating of the underlying data-collection process; meanwhile its self-developed LocalMind AI orchestration system used IP cameras for environmental perception and event detection to autonomously dispatch a fleet of robot dogs, showcasing the range of Physical AI applications across smart manufacturing and industrial settings. Speaking to media at the event, Kuo shared his outlook on where the AI market is heading, noting that the next major shift in AI will move beyond conversation and generation toward embodied intelligence capable of acting in the physical world. Moving AI from simulation into real-world deployment — and turning it into applications that industry can actually put to use — remains the core direction SYNCROBOTIC continues to advance as part of Foxlink Group’s AI transformation.
