Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Robotics Control Engineer with a strong focus on low-level robot motion control.
This role is responsible for the full control stack from robot modeling and simulation to real-world execution, including sim-to-real integration, joint-level motion control algorithms, and firmware implementation for robot hardware, sensors, and embedded components.
The ideal candidate will ensure stable, predictable, and high-precision robot motion in complex industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Robotics Software / Motion Control
- Design and implement low-level joint motion control algorithms (e.g., position, velocity, torque control).
- Develop robot modeling and simulation (kinematics and dynamics) and validate control performance through sim-to-real integration.
- Architect robot control frameworks that bridge simulation environments with physical robot systems.
- Integrate and optimize motion control logic on real hardware platforms to ensure system stability and repeatability.
- Robotics Low-Level Control
- Implement low-level firmware logic including communication protocols and actuator control.
- Perform system integration, hardware bring-up, debugging, and on-site validation.
- Support cross-platform communication and integration (e.g., MCU ↔ ROS2 / host systems).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in robotics software, motion control, or firmware development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ with hands-on experience in low-level robot control or embedded firmware development.
- Solid understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics modeling, and joint-level motion control.
- Experience integrating robot hardware, embedded components, and control architectures.
- Strong system integration, hardware bring-up, and multi-module debugging capabilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Intermediate proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience with robot simulation, modeling, and sim-to-real integration, demonstrating strong hands-on experience using NVIDIA Isaac Gym, Isaac Sim, and Isaac Lab.
- Experience with multiple hardware platforms (e.g., STM32, NXP, Jetson, Raspberry Pi).
- Experience deploying robotic systems from prototype to real-world applications.
- Familiarity with real-time control systems and robot motion optimization.
